After you’ve taken the beginner class, you’ll be ready to get to work. But those people that are hungry to learn more can enroll in HD Beauty’s Advanced Permanent Makeup BROW course. Our advanced courses dive into – you guessed it – more advanced information. Advanced permanent makeup courses focus on more in depth technique or if you’re already a practicing technician but don’t work on brows yet. These courses go into great detail in regards to each part of the body to ensure that every new technique and trend is passed on from the instructor to the student. Advanced permanent makeup one zone course starts at $1700.

Permanent Makeup Advanced Course for Professionals

The advanced training consists of 1-day one-on-one training with the instructor on one of the three zones (eyebrows, eyeliner or lips). Students will be provided with models to practice on and will go over new techniques and trends with their instructor. A class consists of a practical part only.

I took the in person nano brows and powder brows course with Victoria, and I really enjoyed it! I loved that I could watch tutorials and theory first. This helped me to arrive with questions and practice before the in person appointment. Also, they are able to provide models which is a nice plus in this industry (vs trying to get your own models). I’ve worked in a few tattoo shops in the last 10 years, and nothing can compare to the environment in the studio where you take these classes. I have recently completed my training in permanent makeup and Nano brows technique at HD Beauty PM Academy and I am very happy with the results. Victoria is very professional, friendly, and patient, and she taught me everything I needed to know to start my own career in this field.The training was very comprehensive and hands-on, covering topics such as hygiene, safety, skin anatomy, color theory, pigment selection, needle types, machine handling, and various techniques for eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips. She is giving people that have lost their eyebrows/lashes for medical reasons free eyebrow tattoos/ liners and I was lucky enough to be one those people to receive that service and she did a wonderful job. By far the best experience I have ever had with any permeant makeup service. All the staff was extraordinary, they thoroughly explain the process to you before they begin to make you comfortable. They were sure to check in with me throughout the service and ask if I was comfortable. I have never gotten so many compliments on eyelashes and brows. I have already gotten my brows done twice by them, and will definitely be going back again. Also, I’ve gotten my eyelashes done over a dozen times by them and have never gotten a better job. They pay close attention to exactly what I request for and always leave me more than satisfied. Their services are also done in a timely manner and last a long period of time.

I had Yulia do permanent upper eyeliner for me this May 2023. I cannot say enough nice things about her, and the work that she did!She was professional, and yet personable. She explained the process to me first, and made me feel more at ease about it.I went in super nervous about the idea of tattooing my eyelid, but I’m so glad I did it! It looks absolutely perfect, and she listened to exactly how I wanted it done. I actually cried when I saw it! I highly recommend Yulia and her team!

I was recently a model for a student in Alberta to get my eyebrows done and I was so blown away by how my eyebrows turned out. I love them! I was super worried about getting my eyebrows done by a student but the ladies at HD are excellent instructors and make sure all eyebrow measurements are perfect before allowing a student to proceed. I previously had another ‘professional’ artist do my brows and it was a disaster and resulted in removal however some of the old tattoo was still noticeable- after the student finished my brows I couldn’t even see the old tattoo!I’m so happy With the results and would absolutely be a model again if you ever come back to Edmonton :)

My mother in law went to HD Beauty as a microblading model yesterday and her experience was amazing. She is super particular and it can be a bit unnerving having her as a client. I would recommend the HD Beauty online training experience to any student who is looking to learn a new skill or advance in their skill. I took the HD Beauty online training for Lash Lift & Tint and I thoroughly enjoyed the learning experience. HD Beauty Academy Online provides a downloadable PDF with the entire course curriculum and numerous video content illustrating the procedure. Further to that, they also provide content on marketing, aftercare etc. They also provide on-going support with any question or inquiries you may have after you complete the course online. In order to receive a certificate, I had to submit before and after pictures of my work on three models. Victoria and Kristina are very professional and invested in their students success. They always ensure the highest standards of learning. I had an incredible experience with their online course and I plan on taking more courses in the future. Thank you so much HD Beauty Academy!

I can't say enough about this place! I have done my permanent make-up here for my eyebrows, my lips and my eyeliner. I am blonde and have very fair skin, so I always need a bit of colour to make my features stand out. Having my eyebrows and my eyeliner tattooed makes so much difference whenever I am make-up free. I love this added brightness around my eyes the moment I wake up, while still looking very natural. Victoria (the owner of the salon) is a true professional who continues to learn and to improve. They always have some new products, pigments and tools. The place is always neat and clean (a very important feature when you work with needles). I am always greeted with a smile, hot coffee and cheerfulness. Definitely recommend and will be coming back for touch ups and other services!
